The main strip in town runs behind my backyard and for some reason people think it's an ideal place to hoon. It sounds like a dragstrip. Sounded like some guy just did a burnout and took off.
Okay, this is not an edit or an update. As I'm writing this same dude just frickin did it again. I need to find a camera system I can mount outside to record video and audio and only saves hoonage. If it's not hard launches it's semis stopping just short of jack knifing everyone. I hate living on an enbankment because it means I can do very little work on my cars but living on the other side of this street makes me happy people can't drive through my living room.

Same thing used to happen at my dorm. A Mustang GT would fly past my dorm at like 1am and had more than a stock(custom) exhaust. Was loud as hell and always woke me up. I finally got it on camera at the end of the semester but it was irrelevant because there was nothing I really could do.

I don't intend to do anything. I just want to record it and share anything good with you guys. It's a busy street and dangerous whether people are hooning or not.

A lot of people do burnouts from my complex. Some of the truck crew are legitimately impressive. The straight piped Genesis guy is mostly trying too hard. I'm a very sound sleeper so it isn't usually an issue, as I sleep through the dance club that is just down the road and most of anything that goes on unless I'm already up. I'd actually like to hear it if the guy with the big block Buick starts it up ever but I'm not sure it is running. There's a supercharged FRS too, but that isn't super loud.

Kinda the same boat for me. A lot of it is fart can ricers and that's the stuff that annoys me but some of it sound good. I'm a pretty heavy sleeper so it doesn't bother me either.
